Halloween drink for kids - gummy worm juiceEverything else to eat at your Halloween party follows the Halloween theme – don’t wimp out and serve just plain old soda to drink! This a super easy way to dress up your drinks for your Halloween party. Worm juice – Halloween drink for kids

Let’s face it, usually kids only like to eat and drink familiar things. Fancy punch with pineapple juice?

No thank you!

So go ahead and serve plain old fruit punch or Kool-Aid, just make it fun with gummy worms! The trick is in the ice.

Worm juice ice cubes – Halloween drink for kids

Ingredients and equipment

fruit punch or Kool-Aid

candy gummy worms

ice cube trays

Instructions

  1. Use fruit punch or a soft drink mix, such as Kool-Aid. Orange, cherry, or lime looks good with the gummy worms.
  2. The key is to freeze the gummy worms in ice cubes of the punch you’ll be serving. This way the worms won’t just sit on the bottom like dead worms. 24 hours ahead, fill the ice cube tray with punch. Add a gummy worm to each cube. The worms can drape out of the cubes. Freeze overnight.gummy worm ice cubes for kids Halloween drink
  3. Add the cubes with worms to the punch in glasses and serve! Drape at least one worm end over the lip of each glass. Clear glasses are best so you can see all the worms.
