Where to stay in Maui - The secret to the best tropical beach vacation ever at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa, best West Maui ResortsThe secret to the best tropical beach vacation ever at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa is to have a beach rental – rent a beach tent or cabana for a day – or two!

You have to do this ahead of time, when you make your reservations, because they fill to capacity. Before you’ve been there, it’s almost impossible understand your different options. But so you won’t have to just guess and hope they give you the right recommendation, read on to find out about the different types of beach rentals we saw at the Hyatt Regency Maui Spa and Resort, and how to reserve them.

Reserve these at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa before your stay, through the pool services desk. Yes, it is pricey. But we got a deal on our rooms, so compared to other resorts I could justify the cost. Be sure and check out the other reasons my family would choose to stay at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa again and more tips to make your stay the best it can be!

This is what we rented. I thought it was insanely expensive and almost cancelled more than once. And I didn’t tell my budget-conscious better half how much it was until after the day was over. But even he agreed at the end of the day that it was worth it!
